Determine the meaning of symbols, key terms, and other domain-specific words and phrases as they are used in a specific scientific or technical context relevant to grades texts and topics.

With it, students will read a lesson that steps them through the basic components of Microsoft Word, pausing to apply concepts, then finish up by creating and saving a new document. Instructions Engage students with the topic by asking them to open Microsoft Word and allowing them to navigate freely for three minutes.
At the end of this time, ask them to share experiences, questions, and comments. Tell students they will be learning to use this program, then ask them to consider why learning to use Microsoft Word will be a benefit to them.
